Cephalopods

Some of the more interesting fossils found where straight-shelled Nautiloid Cephalopods.

The inside of many of these Cepalopod specimens were coated with Cacite crystals. (Next three pictures)

The Cephalopod below was found as an impression on a rock surface with the siphuncle still present in the middle.

Some of the Cephalopods were encrusted with the Bryozoan Spatiopora. The one below is an example, but the picture is out of focus.
