Page 6: More Digging and Collecting
I wanted to take a picture of one of the trilobites Bob Bross had just popped
out of the shale, but Bob insisted on cleaning it first.
Clean as a whistle!
Actually, I had just dared him to clean it the "Dan Cooper way" and
Bob didn't really want to do that. So he was a good sport (a really good sport!)
and put it in his teeth for a picture. Thanks Bob! That's a great picture!
Above is a good illustration of just how hard it is to remove big Isotelus
trilobites from this shale in one piece. Almost all of the big Isotelus
trilobites you see in museums were pieced back together to some degree.
