Introduction
This month, the Dry Dredgers combined their field trip with Cincinnati's Great Outdoor Weekend 2004, two days of activities to sample the best nature programming offered by nearly 30 local outdoor organizations throughout the Tri-State. The Dry Dredgers are one of those organizations.
The day was overcast but it didn't rain. In the last ten years, it has never rained on a Dry Dredgers field trip. The trip was held at Sharonville's Trammel Fossil Park.
Here's a panarama of the hill exposure we explored..

The city of Sharonville put up a tent for the event.
Shown above with our club councilor, Dr. Dave Meyer, UC Geology, and our
president, Jack Kallmeyer.
In the tent, Sharonville offered free magnifying glasses and
the Dry Dredgers provided displays of fossils like the ones that we would find
that day.
Dr. David Meyer helped to build this wonderful fossil
park.
While we were there, we met two vans of students from St.
Laurence University, in Canton, NY. It was interesting to watch them work.
