I don't have a lot of words to go with the pictures I took that evening. It was the pure meaning of the word Awesome. I know I could have spent at least an hour in each cabinets, of which there were rows and rows. Some impressive specimens and artifacts were on display, also, in the glass cases of the lobby and the meeting room. I had too many things of which to take pictures, and so did not take notes on what was what. Just browse the photos and be amazed as I was.
For the tour, we gathered in the center of the vertebrate and invertebrate fossil areas. There, Glenn and Brenda addressed the group and then allowed us to break up into smaller groups with interest in chosen areas. We each received personal attention in guiding us to our specific areas of interest and educating us on the many treasures in house.
