The Dry Dredgers were in their element at our annual public kids fossil hunt called the "Search for Noids, Pods and Zoas!" for 2005.

This will be the third year for this new annual event, held in memory of our long time members, Hank and Laura Barton. The turn out this year was a bit light compared to last, due largely to the overcast sky and forecasted rain. It didn't rain, though, and it was obvious that everyone who attended had a wonderful time, with the best give-always and the best fossils found of any other year.

The day started by meeting our fellow amateurs in a  nearby, designated parking lot..

Everyone signed in and received a package of gifts and tools need for the adventure. Among these was an identification poster to help each new fossil collector catalog their fossils.

Also included among the gifts, was this great T-Shirt!
