Lots of fossils can be exposed in this rubbly outcrop by dragging
a rock hammer through the material as shown above.
Here's our president, Jack Kallmeyer, talking with some members.
Jack helped identify an long Iocrinus stem.
Jack asks where the Iocrinus stem was found because, as he explains, you can
often find whole calyxes by following the stems up the hill side to the layer
from where they are weathering.
