Before the general meeting at 8 pm, our education chair, Greg
Courtney held the beginner's class.

At the general meeting, our feature speaker was Dan Phelps, of
the Kentucky Paleontological Society, who spoke on "Rusophycus Burrows as Evidence of Predation on Infaunal Worms."
Dan also brought with him some realistic plastic models or toys of some
Paleozoic marine animals.

Greg Courtney's son Keegan also brought his own clay models of
Paleozoic marine animals.

Keegan also brought in a diarama of an asteroid impact he made to demonstrate an extinction event.

Refreshments were also served.
