For a special winter field trip in February, Kentucky Paleontological Society made arrangements to visit the Geier Collections and Research Center – and has invited the Dry Dredgers to come along! Dan Phelps (KPS President) made arrangements with Dr. Brenda Marsh for a behind the scenes tour of the facility. This is where all the “stuff” is that isn’t on display at The Museum Center. The area we will visited contains their paleontological collection. It’s was great opportunity to view upclose some of the fossils we may only have seen in photographs!
